Inspection Reports The regulatory body for all Care Homes in England and Wales is the Commission for Social Care Inspection [CSCI] The CSCI inspect all establishments on at least an annual basis and produce 'Inspection Reports' of their visits. At Cornmill we recommend to all our prospective residents, their families and friends that our inspection reports are viewed. We also recommend the same is undertaken for any other care home that may be under consideration. It may be necessary to view a number of reports on a particular Care Home in order to gain a substantive idea of standards as not all are assessed on each inspection. We believe that particular attention should be given to the section of the report indicating whether a home has any 'Statutory Requirements' or 'Recommendations' to meet minimum standards and the 'Scoring of Outcomes'. However the whole report should be read.
